Number One Zombie Wife, Chapter 139: The Friends are Many

Mu Yifan was excited at the thought of having two very powerful powers and, he was even more powerful than the original zombie king.

But when he thought about his future relationship with Zhuang Ziyue, he couldn’t be happier.

That night, because of the damage to his room, Mu Yifan had to switch rooms with Zhan Beitian.

The next morning, Lu Lin reports, Zhuang Ziyue has not returned to the villa all night and, Chen Yan has died at home, the crystal cores in her brain have been ripped out.

Zhan Beitian testified directly to Commander Zhou, who was guarding the safety of K City, that he had seen Zhuang Ziyue break into Chen Yan’s room last night and kill her to extract the core.

Then, he also mentioned to Colonel Zhou that the other mutants were probably Zhuang Ziyue, so, Colonel Zhou excluded the army from searching for Zhuang Ziyue in the Eastern District.

Zhan Beitian also stayed in K City for two more days in order to find Zhuang Ziyue, making sure that Zhuang Ziyue was most likely not in K City, before taking his team north.

On the morning of their departure, Li Tianqing rushes to the apartment complex with his luggage and found Zhan Beitian.

“Zhan… Major General Zhan, No… It’s not good, Major Zhan… General, not good… Can’t stay.”

Zhan Beitian was happy to have Li Tianqing on his team the moment he saw him with his luggage but when he heard the words ‘no good’, he quickly frowned.

Mu Yifan, who is helping with the luggage, saw Li Tianqing’s panicked appearance and his heart immediately goes up, thinking that something bad is going to happen.

In the novel, Li Tianqing originally did not want to join Zhan Beitian’s team, she only wanted to stay in K City where she grew up but was forced to go north to B City with Zhan Beitian because of the wave of zombies.

Mu Yifan looked at the luggage in Li Tianqing’s hand.

   Could it be…

Xiang Guo hurriedly asked: “Li Lao, what’s going on that you’re in such a panic?”

Li Tianqing panted: “I… I heard a lot of zombies, from all directions… I think there are more than tens of thousands of them.”

Earlier, he was just checking out the situation around K City but he didn’t expect to hear the ‘wail’ coming from the mouths of the zombies.

He didn’t care, because he used to hear them all the time when he was eavesdropping but the more he heard them, the worse it got, because there were so many of them, it was like a big choir and, they were getting closer and closer.

So, he guessed that the zombies were probably trying to attack K City.

   It’s a wave of zombies!

Mu Yifan thought, I didn’t expect it but there was still a wave of zombies but who was leading the attack this time?

Couldn’t be Zhuang Ziyue, could it?

But, he didn’t sense the zombies coming, so, they must be 30km away.

Those who heard the news, drew a cold breath.

Xiang Guo said with a baffled face: “Li Lao, how did you know they were coming this way.”

“The voices beyond are getting clearer, the voices, before they dare to be sure.” Li Tianqing looked to Zhan Beitian and said: “Major General Zhan, what do we do next?”

Zhan Beitian looked to Mu Yifan.

Mu Yifan could see that Zhan Beitian was asking if this was really the case and nodded.

Zhan Beitian looked serious and immediately ordered: “Xiang Guo, you drive and inform Commander Zhou, tell everyone in K City to evacuate K City and go north.”

On second thought, he added: “Go to the secondary road, the tunnels there are shorter and less dangerous.”

It’s too late to prepare for the defensive in K City and, K City is undefended and can only be left, at least there won’t be as many zombies on the way out as when K City is under siege, might as well just kill the way out.

“Yes.” Xiang Guo didn’t delay, he got into the SUV and drove off to tell Commander Zhou.

Zhan Beitian turned to Mao Yu and said: “Give the order, tell everyone to get their things together and leave as quickly as possible.”

Li Tianqing said: “Next, I’ll leave Major General Zhan to take care of it.”

Zhan Beitian nodded and told Zheng Guozong to arrange for Li Tianqing.

Zheng Guozong saw the importance of Li Tianqing to Zhan Beitian and dares not delay and immediately made arrangements for Li Tianqing.

Twenty minutes later, the radio in the eastern part of K City blared urgently: “Attention eastern district, attention eastern district, the zombies are arriving in K City and want to take over K City, please evacuate immediately, please evacuate immediately. Head north on the secondary road.”

As soon as the broadcast came out, the whole East Side was in chaos.

Survivors in the makeshift trading area, gather up their belongings and run, some even take advantage of the opportunity to rob others of their precious food.

Many of the survivors, expecting K City to be a bad place to stay, put their packed bags in their cars and drove north on the secondary road.

When the Zhan Beitian group arrived at the secondary road, they saw many cars speeding up to over 200 km/h, like lightning and with a swish, a car flew past their group.

Sun Zihao, who was driving in front of them, said with a snort: “You want to die for going so fast?”

The way they were running, before they ran into the zombies, they would probably have been in a car accident.

About five or six minutes after the caravan left the K City area, on a secondary road, Mu Yifan finally sensed the scent of his kind coming from the distance.

He looked ahead with wide eyes and murmured in shock: “Many.”

Zhan Beitian, sitting beside him, heard something and asked: “What many?”

Mu Yifan looked at Sun Zihao and Lu Lin sitting in front of him and said nervously: “There are many little ones.”

He really sensed many of them, twice as many as he had seen in his novels, not to mention that they were only encountering a small number of the zombies that were besieging K City, if all the zombies that were besieging K City were in front of them, there was no telling how shocking it would be.

Zhan Beitian said with a raised eyebrow: “How many are there?”

Mu Yifan whispered in his ear: “At least a hundred thousand.”

Twice as many as Li Tianqing had said and, that was the number of zombies they had encountered up ahead, not counting the ones coming from the east, south and west.

   Zhan Beitian wrinkles his nose.

If they had only been surrounded by tens of thousands, as Li Tianqing had said, then, they would have encountered only about 10,000 zombies at most and they would have easily taken them out.

But, there are now 100,000 of them waiting for them, not so easy to deal with.

The convoy had been travelling for another seven or eight minutes, when Zhan Beitian saw the wide fields of vegetables on either side of the second level and immediately called for a halt.

The cars behind them slowly stopped, followed by the survivors of the other cars behind the convoy shouting: “Are you going or not, get out of my way.”

The survivors in the convoy were very anxious, wondering why Zhan Beitian had stopped so suddenly.

Xiang Guo gets out of the car and runs to ask: “Boss, what’s wrong?”

Zhan Beitian said: “It’s not safe up ahead, the cars running ahead will definitely back up, it will cause a serious traffic jam.”

Sun Zihao asked: “So what do we do now?”

“Now we have to wait for the people in front of us to fall back here, then we can move, now, let’s deploy, you go and get Mao Yu.”

The cars behind their convoy saw that they were not leaving, they had to take advantage of the gap and turned into the passing lane, passing them, all with their windows open and cursing, before speeding off.

Zhan Beitian gives him a cold look, then, quickly assigns Sun Zihao, Lu Lin, Mao Yu and Xiang Guo to their jobs.

Five minutes later, the men in the queue see the cars running ahead and they all drive backwards, blocking the cars coming from behind.

The man in front of the car backing up, shouted to the people behind him in panic: “There are lots of zombies ahead, back off.”

Xiang Guo immediately leads a group of soldiers, directing them to drive the cars into the field, with their team driving the way, the others with powers following behind.

The survivors did not believe in their abilities but seeing that they were all soldiers and, hearing Xiang Guo’s words about the horde of zombies to the east, south and west, even if they retreated, they would be dead.

Now they can only kill their way out, to get north safely, so, they can only trust Xiang Guo and the others for once.

The survivors in front of them quickly pull into the field, giving way to Zhan Beitian and his men, who lead the way north.

SOTUS S, [Special] Q and A.

First meeting?

Kongpop: During the college entrance interview , I met Arthit in the bathroom…. a place that doesn’t look very romantic (laughs) but after being encouraged by a certain stranger he made me feel better. So I remembered him.

Arthit: When this boy announced that he would take me for a wife in the middle of the cheer meeting room, it was a very negative first impression, but it made me remember the name and code 0062 as well.

When did you fall in love?

Kongpop: Every time Phii Arthit gives me something to eat (laughs), from Sompad Thai basil, spicy chili… What? Phii is soo kind.

Arthit: I don’t remember this.

Which part of the other person do you like the most?

Kongpop: Arthit’s smile.

Arthit: All of him, do you think he has any disadvantage part?

Kongpop: When he is embarrassed Phii Arthit is especially cute… Eh? Isn’t that a disadvantage? Yes, because when Phii Arthit is like, I can’t wait to hug and kiss him and….

Arthit: Hoeei! How can you answer like this!

Kongpop: It’s true, for example, right now you are very cute (Arthit suddenly moved away).

Arthit: Kongpop, he likes to tease and he is also a little stalker.

Kongpop: Me? A stalker?

Arthit: Yeah! For example, when I was in the university dormitory, when it was raining, I left my clothes on the balcony and Kongpop would call me every time to tell me to go collect my clothes. After moving in the dormitory, he still follow me and got an apartment next to me, if not called a stalker, what should I call it?

Kongpop: It is called worried. Usually couples have a special word for other if they have it.

What do you want to call the other person?

Kongpop: “Ai Aon” or “dear.

Arthit: Nightmare!

If you had to stick to an island and you could choose one item, what would it be?

Kongpop: Phii Arthit

Arthit: How am I a thing?

Kongpop: Just having Phii Arthit is enough and anywhere is okay.

Arthit: I chose to have someone pick me up as soon as possible.

Kongpop: That’s not a thing either.

Your favorite menu?

Kongpop: Phii Arthit.

Arthit: Can you answer something else? And that’s not something someone can eat! Ahem… for me I like cold pinkmilk, stir-fried basil, chicken, fried egg and… Uh… poached egg.

What moment do you like the most when you studied at the university?

Arthit: When riding a bicycle, cycling around in a motorbike.

Kongpop: I thought Phii Arthit would reply that it was when he was a head hazer and he had ordered punishment for juniors.

Arthit: I’m not a psychopath, I don’t like violence.

Kongpop: But… I like it when I argue with Phii Arthit in the meeting room cheering and I like being punished by Arthit.

Arthit: Psycho!

Choose one place for a perfect date?

Arthit: How about the bedroom?

Kongpop: Eh? I didn’t think Phii Arthit thinks of me like this.

Arthit: Hoeei! No, don’t think other things, I just want to stay in a place that is ours, sleep, read cartoons, watch movies together, I don’t want to go out, outside is chaotic.

Kongpop: I like the bedroom too, but I would have more activities than Phii Arthit said though… eh! Phii Arthit, don’t get mad… an activity that I mean like eat together.

[Kinkan means each together or eat each other… it’s a play of words]

Do you like the sea?

Arthit: I like it, but at one time I was afraid of the sea.

Kongpop: When was it?

Arthit: I shouldn’t have asked, but at that time I was wrong for ordering you to dive in but didn’t think you were going crazy enough to really follow through.

Kongpop: But because Phii Arthit is always looking at me, did you think I drowned?

Arthit: Who looked at you, I just wanted to my job… and do you like the sea?

Kongpop: I like it because at sea let me know that someone is worried about me.

Something that must be carried with you all the time?

Kongpop: Here (holding a pair of silver and brown gears that are cut in half, hanging in a string of silver).

Arthit: Same (Arthit moved the collar open to reveal a necklace with the same type hanging).

Kongpop: It is like a wedding ring that you must have in your pocket.

Arthit: What goes on in that brain of yours?!

Have you ever feel like you want to lie to the other?

Arthit: Oh! No!!!

Kongpop: Don’t lie, it’s easy for other people to cause a mountain out of a mole.

Arthit: You don’t have to say anything, I will just be by your side.

Kongpop: I will hold on tight.

The first thing you do in the morning when you wake up together?

Kongpop: Peeking at Arthit’s face while sleeping.

Arthit: Scream at Kongpop for not waking me up.

Kongpop: I really try to wake you up Phii Arthit.

Arthit: And why am I always getting up late?!

Kongpop: Or because sometimes you don’t sleep much? Why don’t you sleep enough? Uh… is…

Arthit: Oh yeah!

The next question, I gave up, but actually there was a spoiler of other episodes, but could not be broadcasted.

Arthit: Oh yeah! Oh, yeah!!! Today I hurt my throat a little.

How do you like to dress?

Arthit: In the past, I thought that a white shirt would look good but when I saw him in a red jacket he looked cool again.

Kongpop: Not wearing much is the best… Ouch! Brother Arthit, don’t hit me.

Do you believe in fate?

Kongpop: In the past, I didn’t believe it but now I start to think about it as well because some things come in the right way and at the right time.

Arthit: I believe in efforts rather than like just luck.

What if the other party disappears?

Kongpop: I will search for him… no matter how far away he goes I will search until I find him.

Arthit: In just one pass, Kongpop will come back.

Kongpop: And if I don’t come back?

Arthit: You can’t stand to see me worried.

What is the definition of love?

Arthit: Love is love

Kongpop: Phii Arthit.

Arthit: Huh? Why do you call that love?

Kongpop No, I didn’t call it anything and I answered the question.

What do you want to say to the other per?

Arthit:  Kongpop… I love you.

Kongpop: Can you tell me more clearly?

Arthit: Well… I will tell you when we are alone.

Kongpop: But I want to hear it right now so you can just whisper it.

Arthit: Oh… it’s a lot. So tilt your ears.

(Kongpop turns side to let Arthit move his face closer, but as soon as he whispers, Kongpop turns around and their lips touch lightly).

Kongpop: I can hear it clearly, Phii Arthit (smiling).

Arthit: (blushing) Kongpop!!!

(Arthit screamed loudly, Kongpop hurried to escape and the two of them chased after other, ending the interview).

SOTUS S, Lover’s Rule No. 1: Always keep your heart as the first time.

SOTUS S: The Third Year and the Office Worker

SOTUS S, Lover’s Rule No. 1: Always keep your heart as the first time.

“Where have all your friends gone? Why didn’t they come to the meeting to cheer?”

… come again. This question, if a vote is given to hazer’s top ten questions. The above sentence would undoubtedly be the number one question that all First Year students had to face, but surprisingly, even if they heard it hundreds and thousands of times, no one had the courage to answer. It was a still target for the seniors to shout at the sound of a machine gun.

“Why don’t you answer? What time did I make an appointment with you guys, what time is it now!”

… The appointment was at five o’clock in the evening, but the teacher dropped the class at four and fifty.

There were ten minutes to change from a student uniform to a cheer shirt and a pair of warm pants and then had to run to a football field located six hundred meters from the Faculty of Engineering building. Seep the back completely, but believe it… even if explaining the reason in hazer’s eyes, it would be seen that this lack of discipline is a serious criminal offense.

“You guys will graduate from the Faculty of Engineering and go to be an engineer. If you come to work this late, do you know how much damage will be done to the factory?”

In spite of the fact that he still did not finish university, but was in the meeting room to cheer in front of the head hazer, it is considered the person with the most absolute power even when giving orders. How eccentric, everyone must start now. Now there is no way to avoid it.

“To teach you responsibility, I will ask First Year students to stand shoulder to shoulder with other, sit and sit until all your friends come together… Start now!”

The First Year students do not have the right to mourn, but they bow their heads, accept their fate, raise their arms, hug their necks, perform evening exercises in unison.

“One! Two! Three!”

… Suddenly Arthit thought about that day.

Despite the fact that four years have passed, the current freshman Arthit has become a rookie salaryman in his twenties, but the memory of him having to sit for so long to the knee is almost deteriorating, cursing the people in the cheer meeting. The line keeps coming back again.

It’s only wrong that… this time, he has become too late!

Arthit increased his pace at high speed like a national team athlete, competing in uniforms, white shirts, black slacks and leather shoes, while carrying a bag of high-end luggage, with the finish line at the entrance to Ocean Electric Company in front of him.

 “Wait for me too.”

He hurriedly reached out to block the door of the closing elevator, fearless of being pinched, because something even more frightening was on the wrist watch indicating at 09:30…

Immediately after inserting into the elevator, the panting person tried to adjust his breath to return to normal, if not very effective, because when his eyes glanced at the number panel, the ear seemed to hear a hallucination shouting, counting the numbers, sitting up. Floating in a sequence from 1… 2… 3… up and on and on.

His heart tells him that… Even if it starts to scare, Arthit is late, the senior staff wouldn’t order the new kid to sit up since the first day of work.

Nevertheless, it cannot be denied that the heart beat anxiously, the knees feel tingling for the fear of being punished.

Finally, the numbers stopped on the 5th floor.

Arthit rushed out of the elevator first. Thankfully, someone left the office glass door open, so he didn’t have to wait for someone to scan the card.

The young man walked straight through numerous desks, which were partitioned into proportions and all the salaried workers were busy cleaning up their work.

It is now the middle of the week, but perhaps because it is near the end of the month, the department that has to handle accounting documents is busy, putting some of their hands on a computer keyboard, or picking up the phone, filling in a serious tone, or walking. Hold documents across the table to discuss.

However, upon reaching the innermost zone… the chaotic atmosphere seemed to be sucked away.

This area was so quiet, there was no sign of people, leaving only a table full of folders, stacks of chairs, sitting empty, looking lonely and deserted.

Eh? Did he come to the wrong department?

The confused person hurriedly tried to look for other creatures before finding a single human nearby.

Auntie, the housekeeper was pushing a cleaning cart and Arthit hurriedly went straight to ask.

“Excuse me, is this the Purchasing Department here?”

“Oh yes, but everyone is meeting in that room.”

Auntie pointed to the door of the room on the other side of the corner of the office and continued to give more attention and information.

“… I don’t know what’s urgent. I have seen it all since morning and my aunt hasn’t finished opening the meeting room yet.

“The Purchasing Department is really diligent.”

In spite of the admiration the listener felt cold and cold, how would you dare to hold your chest and smile when a freshman in the Purchasing Department was still standing over here for a while!

Arthit hurriedly bowed his head and thanked Aunt the housekeeper and hurried to his goal.

… The closer it gets, the more excitement inside the heart will erupt.

The reason was that he came to work late from the first day, yes, but deep down it was a normal symptom when he started doing new things. No different from when stepping up as a Third Year head hazer of the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering, who knows how much he has to invest in a beard in his dark face to get the nickname. “The most brutal head hazer Arthit who children and cry, the thief who wants to rob him still has to think.

His visualization plan was almost perfect, but it was completely collapsed by a male student who announced that he would grab a head hazer and make him into his wife in the middle of the meeting room to get the gear. So he turned into a challenging anger that made him mad that he almost exchanged fists on the unconventional boy, admitting that there was still chaos following the formation (which wasn’t all bad), but he didn’t want to risk duplicating history in the launch of another first day of work.

So instead of plunging open the door to the meeting room, Arthit moved the clothes to be neat and tidy, stroked the short-cut hair at the back of the neck, suited to a clean, beardless face.

The brutal Third Year head hazer image cruel hazer has faded… Now only the bright-faced office worker is full of determination!

When his morale and encouragement were prepared, he reached out to knock on the door in a manner but then the door leaf opened the result first.

The woman with a square face, a fleshy figure, showed her joy as soon as she saw him.

“Oh, come here, I have been waiting.

Before hurriedly pulling his hand in, he did not even open his mouth to say anything, he could only follow the force of drag.

Inside the medium-sized conference room, there was enough space to fit a three-meter long table with dozens of chairs occupying every seat.

“Nong, come over here.”

Arthit was pulled to sit down at the front desk with a laptop waiting to be ready.

Wow… I didn’t think before that, even if you are late, you will be welcomed by the purchasing team so warmly.

I felt rejoiced in my heart, preparing to raise my hand to introduce myself to my co-workers for the first time, but I was stuck because I was interrupted.

“Nong, look at what the laptop is and the files will disappear once the flash drive is inserted.”

“Uh… is that…..”

People who are thrown to work without the bagpipes have the blinking flute.

“Can you fix it? Hurry up, you guys have to hurry and continue meeting.”

Even though he was unable to properly grasp the tip, the haste made Arthit willing to help.

… Even without graduating from Computer Engineering, at least he still has some programming skills and perhaps this is a very basic test of whether he is qualified to do a purchasing job. On top of that, if the file was edited successfully, it would be considered as an impression. Calling the opening score to compensate for the negative points he was late with. “Two birds had already shot one stone, a huge program, a virus on the website, a young man, a new office worker, so quickly clicked and investigated before quickly finding the cause.

“Oh, I suspect there is a virus in the machine.”

“What virus came from?”

The thin eyes of a senior employee gazed at the laptop screen in surprise.

“It is a virus that hides files. It is not difficult to fix, it is a scan only.”

Arthit diligently described himself as an expert programmer.

“Most of the time, these viruses are infected by downloading files and then linking to the source website…..”

He opened the website URL to show evidence, without realizing that it was a very wrong decision! Because suddenly a clip of a man and woman caressing other half-naked appeared on the computer. Coupled with a large projector screen, enlarging HD images, resulting in a meeting room atmosphere filled with loud groaning sounds.

…woeful! Everyone was in shock, the person holding the mouse consciously.

I hurriedly press to close the picture of the activity in eighteen plus rhythm immediately, the room has returned to silence again, but it is an awkward silence…..

“Uh… I’m sorry, probably because this machine has other viruses as well.”

Arthit hurried to cover up, who would have thought that he would find a jackpot, someone took a note to break into the company to load a porn site!

Of course, embarrassment was not on him alone, for a huge bomb was thrown into the Purchasing Department.

“How did you prepare for the event? Do you think I have time to sit and wait all day for you? Why don’t you get it done!”

The blame came from some of my men, who had the most senior personality and power, who took over the seat of the presidency at the head of the table, making the First Year students shut their mouths, silent in fear, leaving only the plump girl who hurries to negotiate and negotiate instead?

“I’m really sorry, Khun Pairot,” before turning to chase down the cause of the disturbance. “Did you finish solving it? Thank you very much. Then it can be done.”

“Well, I’m not from the IT department.” All eyes turned to the mysterious person in a puzzled manner. Who are you? Why did you enter this room?”

“… My name is Arthit, Rojnapat, a new employee, I came to the Purchasing Department and this is my first day.”

The introductory person smiles, the embankment is over, the desperate plan to create the image when everything collapsed.

The more he looked in the eyes of the meeting room, the more he recalled the cursing eyes of a friend who hugged his neck and sat up without telling him what impression he made on his coworker on the first day he would turn to blame. It would have been futile when this mess he was in was his own fault.

The experience launched as a purchasing clerk is overlaid with the launch image in the head hazer position.

It’s only wrong that… he didn’t get caught cheating… but instead saw someone cheating.

Oh… Ai Arthit, you are really damn crazy.

After an unexpected crisis, the meeting ended and soon everyone left the room and Arthit’s side hurriedly followed up to speak to the Muay-sisters again.

“Excuse me for what caused the matter just now.”

“It’s alright, I was the one who dragged you in and didn’t look up to confirm who you are. Oh, I saw a soft and clear face. I thought that it was an IT employee.”

She sent a big smile, full of cheeks, full of cheeks and was one of the hospitable employees of the same age.

“Your name is Arthit, right? My name is Somoo, I’m the secretary of Phii Danai, Purchasing Department Manager.”

Somoo nodded to him to meet forty middle-aged men wearing silver-rimmed glasses, little belly-busting puppets, his face showing seriousness as he walked towards them.

“Khun Arthit, please follow me into the room.”

The new office man walks modestly following his adult’s back into a clear glass room, giving him the feeling of a high school parents’ room, before the manager opens his hand, inviting him to sit down in the chair opposite him and start the conversation.

“I’m Manager Danai, I’d love to work with you, Khun Arthit.

“Sawadee khrap “He humbly raised his hand with respect.

… Phii Danai has the same personality as an advisor, is straightforward and dependable and does not waste his time working as a leader by introducing questions on issues without obligation.

“You were working in the Production Department before?”

“Yes, but at the Production Department the place was full and the manager of the asked me to come to the Purchasing Department first because I saw that there was a lack of people here.”

Ocean Electric Co., Ltd., where Arthit works, is a manufacturing, assembly and repair company dealing with various electronic appliances. In the first place… he submitted an application for the position. The production engineer thought that his personality was not the kind of person who likes to sit at a table and the company gave him the opportunity to call him for a three-month trial.

He learned the planning process, walked the production line, went to the method of measuring the quality and standard of the product. Although tiring, he worked with pleasure.

When the company informed him that he passed the test, Arthit was so happy he almost jumped, but didn’t think that when he was actually a full-time employee, he had to come back to work. Office in position “Purchasing Engineer”

… and because of this accidental disintegration, manager Danai has to warn him.

“The way the Purchasing Department works may be a bit different from the Production Department, but when I picked you up, I hope you can help lighten up my team’s work.”

Although Arthit was disappointed that he did not do the job he intended, if he had already thought that he would try to take full responsibility for the purchasing task, he answered loudly.

“Of course I can!”

The new office worker’s determined eyesight made the veteran nodded in satisfaction.

“Well, then you go to an empty table in the second block and go read some old purchasing files so you can get ready to start.”

“Yes sir,” he rose upright, pretending to walk out of the room in a strong fire of work.

“Wait a minute…” The tip of the toe suddenly hurts as the chief’s voice calls her back after noticing the malfunction of one of the missing things.

“Haven’t you got to get the staff card yet?”

“Uh… not yet.”

In fact, Arthit had to bring the transcript documents to the HR department in exchange for the employee badges, but because of the high noise, he went straight to the Purchasing Department first.

“Then do not forget to stop by tomorrow so that you can start checking when entering…..”

Simple words, if there is a connotation, the heart of the people entering the office at nine and a half o’clock gives hiccups.

The new employee almost raised his hand to accept the order before hurriedly leaped out of the room to finish the paperwork, the transcript was already in his pocket because yesterday he went back to the university to get it and took the opportunity to visit the teachers and the siblings. He thought he would be there for a short time but then he got held back by someone.

“… Phii Arthit, don’t go back yet.” The voice of a semi-pleading voice, with eyes sparkling like a child.

The little dog swallowed up his first intentions, trying to direct himself to reject a hard voice for the reason that he had a morning job, but was constantly attacked by this lover of his.

“Tomorrow I can send it to you, for sure in time, but now stay with me…

… In the end, he always gave his heart to a man named… Kongpop.

It is unbelievable that there was a day when the First Year student’s 0062 will become the formidable Third Year head hazer to the extent that he is not afraid of his threat.

“If I’m late to work tomorrow, I will order you to do a hundred pushups in front of your First Year students!”

“I would agree to run around the field a hundred laps.”

Kongpop confirmed for sure that he had sent him in time to go to the office at nine, but the next morning, he woke up late at almost 8:30 and he was dropped off in the office and he had to ride a motorcycle and arrive in front of the company. And then ran four times quicker up the elevator to the department until he had a crazy hack with a ghost!

Arthit wanted to pick up his smartphone, call and ordered the kid to run around the field right away, but Paul entered.

A leather bag, some things are brought up instead.

… The pen with a clean silver handle, simple shape, with meticulousness in the selected material and durable use, the side is engraved with beautiful elaborate lettering that is his nickname I-AOON.

Thinking of yesterday, when the other party went overnight, Kongpop suddenly stuffed this stuff in a navy blue velvet box into his hands.

“My present for you.”

“Hoeei! Why did you buy it for?”

Surprise, surprise expression probably made the audience interpret it in another way.

“Don’t you like it?”

The tone of the voice was so high that the recipient had to quickly explain.

“No, but today is not my birthday or an anniversary, why buy one?”

“It’s also a present on the day that you have officially packed your work and then use it to represent me as well.

“Why is this sound too yucky sweet?”

He soothed the man’s face, the romantic glands deteriorated that the gift-giving person pretended to charge.

“Then I wil take it back.”

“No! You gave it and I will keep it!”

Arthit quickly put the pen in his backpack as if he was afraid of being seized, letting Kongpop tease him with a smile.

“Phii Arthit, you are always the same.”

“Oh yeah, we’ve been dating for a long time, don’t you know me yyet?”

“I know.”

The eye-catching answers reassured Arthit that his speaker spoke the truth.

… Because Kongpop probably knows how his heart is pulsating right now.

Unthinkable, he fell in love with a man so much that even though he never thought of deviating from his gender and love a man, but the closer he got to Kongpop, the more his heart felt a bond.

Throughout their relationship, their love for the two has been very simple, although they may have seen other very rarely due to their busy schedule, but Kongpop is still a great support. Arthit had the opportunity to use this special pen to sign a contract at the Human Resources Department to get an employee card to hang around his neck, becoming a full-fledged person in the Purchasing Department. Returning to the office, he looked for a table. Empty in the second block, as informed by manager Danai and saw an unoccupied table at the end of the aisle, which was separated by a thin partition. The items were all ready for use, including one old-fashioned desktop computer, a file box and a fish bowl.

… Yes. I saw it right.

He was glistened by the clear eyes of “A red betta fish is staring at the other side of a tall glass bowl, half of the water is put underneath each dozen. There is a sticker over it with English letters written over it,”

It seems that Ocean Electric Company gives employees a bonus of a betta fish, it looks a little weird and this bonus also flits its tail back and forth, as if announcing potential to new visitors, which raises many questions…

… How did anyone get it and why did it sit on the desk? He’s not sure if the office here allows pets or not, however, the betta fish is unlikely to be the office equipment that should be on. On the purchasing desk, by chance, my sister Qiao held her hair taut, as typical of the working woman, holding the file, walked past him to the next table, so Arthit picked up a glass bowl and asked.

“Excuse me, this betta fish doesn’t know who’s it, it’s on my table.”

“Oh, Khun Wichai.”

“Khun Wichai’s? And where is Khun Wichai sitting? I can take it to him.”

“He is in Changsha.”

“Okay, in Changsha…..”

Wait, Changsha, if I am not mistaken, is it the name of a province in China?

Arthit hurriedly turned to the answer, thinking he had been teased by his senior, but when the other party turned around, he just noticed that she was using her shoulder to hold her phone to her ear, so the previous conversation was not. Talk to him a little, even when she realizes that she is being stared at by a man and leaves her smartphone to answer the question she has left.

“Huh? What? Oh, then put it over there first.”

The late voice gets a little annoying first, the professional staff will adjust their mood more quickly than the chameleon changing color to continue talking in a polite tone.

“Oh no… Earth is searching for it… just wait a moment.”

Arthit was completely ignorant, but not surprising, because he wasn’t here just to set up the table, everyone was overloaded with work. Unlike the morning bazaar scene, the owner of the table placed a dozen of betta fish in the same place, thinking that the name was auspicious and would help the bonus money to flow to him a lot.

“Leave yourself too.”

Arthit flips a glass bowl gently, the red betta fish swims around as a sign of self-introduction. After all the personal items have been set up, the new kid is ready to go to the job to the fullest. He studied the purchasing system from old files to make sense of his new work, but perhaps because he was unfamiliar and confused with a large amount of information, he had to concentrate and recheck for a long time.

Someone saw him the new guy and came to say hello.

“Hoeei! Your eyebrows have frowned until they are already tied to a bow.” The sharp eyebrows, dark eyebrows, fragrant and cologne scent, reach out to the latest version of iwatch and pat on the shoulder to encourage the newcomer intimately.

“Purchasing is not that difficult. Don’t be serious.” Then the speaker introduces himself.

“My name is John, you can consult me with anything.”

“Thank you, Phii John.

The new employee smiled and said hello to the senior.

“But where did you graduate from?”

As Arthit told the name of the university, the audience’s eyes were amazed and delighted.

“Oh, the same university.”

“Did you study engineering too?” He hurriedly asked back in excitement.

“No, I studied international economics.”

Even though they were different groups, they were considered brothers and sisters of the same institution, so John patted the younger generation on the shoulder again.

“Well, this college student only had produced great people, as I had worked for six years and was promoted to deputy manager and I hope you wouldn’t cause shame to the university name.”

“Ah… Yes.”

… He do not know why Phii John’s sentence makes him feel strange spine tingling, the weight of the hand placed on the shoulder seems to be squeezed tighter than before, like being a hazer intimidating the First Year students indirectly to honor. The institution’s life kept the life alive and before the more stressful atmosphere surrounded Arthit, there was a sound of flurry of things to help them escape.

“Excuse me, Phii John. Are you ready to work with new kids?”

The sister who he remembers the name “Earth” appears to say hello.

“Oh no, just keep getting to know other.”

The tall figure moved out of the way and the office lady walked towards Arthit at the table.

“Then I’ll give you a new kid, give this document to Khun Phaka, the accounting department urgently.”

Earth ordered so fast that the listener was unable to hear it correctly. “Uh, Khun Phaka?”

“Yeah, it’s not hard to find, there are a few people in the accounting department, she is about forty years old and look good.”

“Yes, I do.”

The person was active, accepting the black folder in hand and walked out with enthusiasm, feeling a little excited about the first task as a purchasing clerk. John pursued his gaze after the younger generation.

“Sent to meet Master Mother from the first day beyond the boat… you are evil Earth.”

“Just go send the documents yourself, Phii John.”

Earth shook her shoulders, not interested or caring about the new kid she didn’t even call her namesake, the other little one did not even realize that the voice from heaven thought came to help.

… will literally become a voice from hell.

The working atmosphere of the fourth-floor office, the accounting department’s location is not much different from the fifth floor, except that the employees in this class seem to be somewhat more mature than Siri and the age of the entire department would be hundreds of years.

Arthit had the determination to bring the documents to Phaka, but now he has only one problem.

… He doesn’t know who Khun Phaka is.

“Excuse me, I don’t know where Khun. Phaka’s table is.”

The new employee enlisted help from passers-by who pointed wooden hands toward the office table lined up on the left.

“It’s over there.” Uh… and where is it?

The young man looked up, tried to find someone with a good attitude, still could not find him, he thought to ask about the observation point again but when he turned around, the assistant walked away in a hurry, allowing him to stand in the midst. People do not know.

… It would be nice if a new employee was ordered to hunt down all the signatures of the senior in the company so that he could memorize everyone’s names and faces. A thousand senior signatures within one Arthit. Of course, the first common thought that immediately popped into my head was… crazy?! Who can do it?

But at least he managed to hunt for hundreds of signatures and helped him to distinguish the seniors who studied in the Faculty of Engineering from the many other faculty students in the university in a matter of days. However, this giant company would never have approved such a frenzy event.

… In conclusion, he was definitely a refugee, Arthit walked over and asked an employee wearing gold-rimmed glasses, who accidentally passed her face again.

“Excuse me, don’t you know who Khun Phaka is?”

“I’m here.”

Unexpectedly, when he meets the person he’s looking for, he hurriedly hands the file to the speaker.

“Uh… this is from Khun Earth.”

The eyes of the senior employee looked at him through a pair of head-to-toe glasses like a teacher of the administration considering the student breaking the rules.

“You’re a new employee, right?”

“No wonder, but this is last time you do this and my name should be remembered, how did you come to work in this company and not know who I am?”

… If there was now a cheering notebook in hand, Arthit vowed that he would hand it over to the other person to sign it in honor of his honor, but in reality, he could only stand with his hands to hold the target.

“Next time I will remember.”

“And besides, people who are new employees have to introduce themselves to the older ones first, not this kind of fuss of throwing their work and move around in a hurry.”

The word continued as a constant hailstorm.

“Excuse me, my name is Arthit, uh… if there’s nothing, then I’ll excuse myself first.”

“Wait! Wait for me to finish checking the document, if I miss anything, I can fix it immediately. These younger generations are useless!”

… hit another punch.

In order to escape from the Accounting Department, he was like a boxer who had been knocked out by opponents since round three, almost crawling and staggered back into the corner of the ring.

It’s just a simple delivery file, why does he feel more tired than going to scrub the entire bathroom in the office building?

Right next to a desk in the Purchasing Department, Arthit discovered that the cruel hazer was fiercely knocking on the computer keyboard, but when he saw a new kid walk in, Earth raised his head.

“How are you doing?”

He did not dare to answer that… Brother, it is easier for me to do a hundred push-ups.

“… It’s fine.”

But the lie could not escape the guilt of the girl, the eyes turned up, the corners of Earth’s mouth raised slightly.

“Went to meet Phaka when you were busy, but really, you have a cute character. Our department has to carry out documents with Khun Phaka a lot, so there will be more opportunities to meet.”

… Are you truthfully speaking or joking, sister!

Confess, honestly, he can’t imagine Khun Phaka in the kind angel version, because just hearing the name, the arms and elbow bent together in submission. Only then he heard the sound of Danai summoning the army first.

“Everyone! Come over here a little bit.”

All members of the Purchasing Department walked together in the middle of the office, including the freshmen recommended by the manager.

“You probably have met Arthit, but this morning the incident was a bit hectic, I will officially introduce you to everyone again so that you know who cares which part.”

And Arthit received additional information as follows.

… Phii Danai, forty-five, the head of the Purchasing Department takes care of the whole team.

… Phii John, thirty-three, Deputy Head of Contact Supervision for Suppliers and Partners.

… Phii Earth, aged twenty-seventh, Sr. supervised purchasing both at home and abroad.

And… Phii Somoo is twenty-five, the secretary takes care of general miscellaneous documents.

He said hello with everyone and allows others to ask questions, starting with Phii Somoo who shoots the question.

“Arthit’s nickname is Arthit or not, or is there another nickname?”

… There are things that exist such as then nickname, but he’ll never tell them. “You can call me Arthit. Anyone can call it like this until I’m used to.”

He managed to survive very smoothly, but was asked to block the second round from Phii John. “Do you have a lover?” The listener immediately stopped. “Uh… is…..”

Inside Arthit’s mind was confused and hesitant.

… If I say that I have a lover and also of the same sex… it would be inappropriate.

Because even though the world is more open now, even in universities, some friends and juniors have no problem accepting MSM.

But with the outside society… he wasn’t sure if it was going to be the case.

… If confessing honestly, will the eyes of his colleague look at him change or not?

But the purpose of the question seemed to be not what he thought, because Phii John continued to ask.

“Do you have cute female friends or not? Sisters and sisters.”

“Phii John you are annoying, keep your image clean.”

Earth, an old flick senior who showed signs of overstimulation before the issue was changed when Manager Danai spoke.

“We are here for dinner this evening to get a youngster in the whole department? I’ll take care of the bill myself.”

The host made a mouthful of promise to feed cash strapped worker… who would have missed out?

Without knowing why, at six o’clock in the evening, at the buffet shabu shop, the table of the Purchasing Department gathered a total of five people.

“It’s easy to scoop. This restaurant is cheap, delicious, good value for money. The meat is very good, if you don’t believe it. Ask Somoo…”

Phii John said this to tease her as he slipped the meat into the pot and the person was pulled over and immediately retorted.

“Somoo is eating now and has no time to talk.”

“Eat smooth until the dishes are clean. So clean?”

“Phii John!”

The chatting atmosphere is hilarious and the opposite of working hours. Even a working woman like Earth has transformed into a skilled cook, making a delicious special soup for everyone to taste. Surprisingly, Arthit’s side began to feel more relaxed, able to chat with their co-workers intimately until everyone was full and stretched after filling his stomach, the phone ringing as a break bell, lifting Danai to withdraw from the table. Went back to answer the call.

“Sorry everyone, my son called and complained about the university and I saw that I had to accept anything.”

This topic of discussion caught the attention of Somoo and asked the young engineering man who was creeping morning glory from the pot.

“Arthit has just graduated here at the university, do we accept cruel younger sisters?”

“If it was my generation or before, then it would be a little harsh, but in the latter, it was not very heavy.”

… especially the grade of head hazer code 0062, current people who have received news that turning the shouting trade into a creative cheer meet activity without emphasis on violence and as if a complainer would die hard… suddenly a ringing sound Arthit’s smartphone rang and he asked to withdraw the child from the table a bit, as the name displayed on the screen had to be cleared for a long time, Arthit uttered a sentence immediately after receiving it.

“Because of you, I came to work late.”

“I’m sorry Phii.”

Hearing Kongpop’s voice replied, but there seemed to be no sign of remorse until he protested.

“You have to run a hundred laps in front of your First Year students, according to the contract.”

“I’ve run, even if it’s not a hundred laps… Today a Fourth Year senior came to the Third Year hazing so I had to do two hundred pushups, two hundred sit-ups and then run twenty more laps. It’s still less than Phii Arthit has run fifty-four laps anyway.”

The heroic act of his time as a head hazer was caused by an order for Kongpop to run fifty-four laps around the field, although he did not complete the run, but because the Fourth year head hazer had ordered the punishment he had to do as he said.

In the end, Arthit had to run fifty-four laps in the rain and was photographed and shared on social media until he became famous, even after suffering a fatal leg injury but still managed to maintain his dignity.

The person who refused to lose his form raised his nose. “Oh, it’s sure, no one can break my record.”

But the brilliant former head hazer at university got to hiccup when he faced the next question.

“So how was Phii Arthit working on the first day?”

A young office man tries to revisit today’s events.

… was blamed for being late in the job

… had to deal with the pressure of the seniors

… being used to pretend to do hard and unpleasant work

… I met a senior employee who pulled on the rank of senior, felt like myself like I was returning to being a First Year boy again and still being accepted by a poor working-age society, yet I have to keep refuse to lose my form and still try to keep my face with a shy reply.

“… Uh… all in all, it’s smooth… Before hurriedly pretending to change the conversation “But you please… accept the younger brother this year, there are no problems, right?”

“No, this year the freshmen seem to cooperate well and attend more meetings in more numbers than every year.”

… really good… I listened to the answer proudly and got a little annoyed.

“Are you picking me up? Tell me, it’s a head hazer. It’s not an easy thing that you find, it’s just the beginning.”

“So if I finish my head hazer work well, what will Phii Arthit reward me?”

… That’s it, when you do it, you will get an elbow every now and then.

“You’re fussy, asking for an award? If after the cheer activity is over, I’ll consider whether you are really good as a head hazer or not.”

“What about my role of lover? If I do this role well, there will be an award for me as well right?”

There he goes again… the little bastard.

Two hot cheeks suddenly flashed, he thought for a moment, then Arthit spoke softly.

“… That one I need to consider as well.”

“Then I’ll try harder.”

The tone of voice from the end of the line was full of determination and then turned into a sly one after the end.

“But… the second prize… I would like… a really yummy (bed?) one.”

The person blurted out to call the name… The young lover has a habit of flirting, provoking anger, Kongpop is still the same, never changing, hearing the other person Arthit started chuckling.

… Because they have been together for a long time… he has clearly felt that these conversations were filled with good feelings for other.

After a few more sentences, Arthit hung up from Kongpop and walked back to the table of the shabu pot that had now begun to eat in the second round.

“Come to eat quickly, or some people will finish the pot but don’t worry, Phii has left shrimp for you.”

Phii Somoo still does not take her hand from the colander, even though the soup in the pot was bubbling.

“Thank you.”

He sat down in a chair, but was startled as Phii John raised his eyebrows to tease.

“It’s been a long time. Have you talked to your lover? See you smile.”

Somoo quickly turned to look. “Oh, okay. Nong Arthit really has a lover. Wow. It’s a shame. What kind of lover do you have Arthit?”

… Not either a Muay Thai woman or a half woman, but a handsome man in college..

“Uh… is…..”

“Phii John, that shrimp…..”

Earth’s voice interrupted, everyone turned to see John smirk with a smile, one hand holding a chopstick with a shrimp stick as evidence.

“Oh… I’ve seen it in the pot for a long time now, I’m afraid that the shrimp will shrink completely, I’ll boil one again.”

The dark-eyed young man hurried to find an excuse to escape being slick as a thief-Somoo hurriedly frantic. “Phii John is doing this every time!”

This made people at the table laugh including Arthit… no one cared about the unanswered question, which was fine… because he wasn’t ready to break the comfort atmosphere towards the Purchasing Department, half an hour later, the shabu pot was completely finished.

Phii Danai paid for a large meal according to the regulations. The subordinates hurriedly raised their hands to thank those who were like angels to please the salaryman with black eyes. Standing in front of the store under the dark sky at 7 pm, the host did not forget to issue an order.

“Now, everyone can disperse get home safely.”

“So how is Nong Arthit returning home? “Phii Somoo asked with concern.

“It’s alright, my dorm is near here, so I can take the bus.”

“Okay, see you at work tomorrow.” Phii John patted his shoulder again and Phii Earth just nodded lightly in lieu of the goodbye.

… It’s over with his first day of work. Arthit sighed tiredly. He got some desert on the way back to the hostel.

He looked down at the newly received, well-received plastic-coated company employee sign-in card with a photo of his face with his name and print position attached to it. He had to hang around his neck every time when he was at First Year students’ cheer meeting, but surprisingly, the feeling he had was the same, excited, frightened and didn’t know what would happen next on this path, but one thing was certain he was sure…

… No matter what the road ahead is

… Khun Arthit will surely get past it!

SOTUS, Rule 11: You have no rights to interfere with seniors’ affairs

The First Year and the Evil Senior: พี่ว้ากตัวร้ายกับนายปีหนึ่ง

SOTUS, Rule 11: You have no rights to interfere with seniors’ affairs

“Stop! It’s not working! How many squats I’ve had you do since the beginning of the faculty year and you still make shit up! This is bullshit! No progress. Start over, now!”

The freshmen had become insensitive to the command” re-do”, because the previous times they had almost done the required 50 but every time the Hazer would make excuses and criticize them at the last minute and then order them to do squats again. The yearlings were already physically and mentally exhausted but even so, they still could not satisfy the hazer.

…thought that everything would be okay after the freshmen activities, because they really did a great job, winning all the sports championships, Mr. and Miss Campus. That’s why the freshmen had some hope that the seniors would recognize the spirit they showed but at the end of the day, the seniors were still seniors, as tyrannical as ginger and in the eyes of the freshmen, they were like devils who loved power and were feared. Perhaps because there was only a week left before the final flag capture and the end of orientation training, they had to make a show of their own, or else they wouldn’t be who they were. But then, the freshmen would be in for a rough ride, with their heads bowed in defiance and the punishment of their fate.

Numbed to the point of giving up their struggle, the freshmen were ready for the endless squatting punishment. But this time, before they could begin, the door to the hall opened, as if a boy band had entered, in a completely different style than the fierce seniors standing inside. Although these five or six guys didn’t look familiar, judging from the way the seniors stood at attention as soon as they saw them, they were probably seniors.

“Sawadee khrap!”

The other nodded and walked straight to the front seat and the seniors hurriedly introduced themselves to the freshmen as they made their way to their seats.

“Freshmen, this is your senior, salute!”

The sound of the freshmen saluting to the fourth-year seniors resounded throughout the hall and the freshmen were finally ordered to sit down.

Usually the sophomores are in charge of entertainment and the juniors are in charge of training but the seniors usually don’t get involved, so we don’t know what their purpose is this time, the seniors are already so cruel, so wouldn’t the juniors be in heaven, if they get punished again, then the freshmen should just die.

“Freshmen, you did a great job at orientation and I’d like to commend you on that.”

…not to be scolded but to be praised.

The freshmen looked at each other with bewildered faces but they couldn’t believe that they were hearing praise. Most of the time, they were hurt but they had already gotten used to being numbed by the sarcastic or pressurized comments from their senior teachers. In most cases, they were hurt but they were also used to being insensitive to the pressure and sarcasm.” As they were seniors, they had the privilege of being seniors, so even if the freshmen had a problem with it, it wouldn’t help. By the same token, those who are in charge of the juniors must be their seniors. The fourth year seniors turned to face the third year’s seniors, who were silent at that moment.

“As for you juniors who you are still here punishing them, I’m not sure you can do it as well as they did their freshman year. Someone reported to me that you’re punishing your juniors and hazers in training in an inappropriate way, not only by making them run back and forth in formation several times, doing squats, head jumps and push-ups but also by making them run 54 laps of the playground.”

Kongpop raised his head as soon as he heard the last sentence, because he was the last one to be punished, for challenging the head hazer’s authority. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, not to mention the fact that he was punished for not having a name tag and doing double the punishment. But he wasn’t watched that hard, because after the hazer explained to him why and gave him advice, he never got up to be a hero again. So, the management turned a blind eye and let him return to the team and he didn’t have to be punished twice as much.

Even though all of the above had been done a long time ago, the orders that had been given could not be taken back as if they had been spilled and the freshmen would never forget who had given them.

“Who’s the head hazer?”

“It’s me!”

Phii Arthit took a step forward, standing straight and with a calm expression, without any fear, he was the head hazer. Then, the senior asked a serious question once again.

“Come on, why don’t you tell me why you’re punishing the freshmen?”

“The reason I punished them was to make them more disciplined.”

The answer was clear and it was a well-known reason but there were many questions as to why punishment had to be used as a form of discipline. The fact that they are never satisfied with their punishments, no matter how many times they are given them, gives rise to the idea that the head hazers are only trying to take it out on the freshmen and not to teach them the rules. So the issue under discussion was something that all the freshmen wanted to know and they were all eager to hear the rest of the conversation.

“In that case, since you’re the ones acting as the ones who teach them the rules that means all those punishments you’re ordering, you can do it yourselves, right?”

“Then please show us and the freshmen how it’s done.”

As soon as the words fell, the hazer immediately turned around and faced the crowd of friends who were waiting to hear his arrangement and the words that came out of the hazer’s mouth made everyone present eye-popping.

“All head hazers, you will do 500 squats, 500 push-ups, 500 head jumps and I, as the head hazer, will do 54 laps of the yard after all of the above. Let’s go!”

The resounding voice revealed the attitude of all the head hazers to obey absolutely any order, even punishment. All the hazers quickly hooked their shoulders and started to squat and there was a loud count. All the freshmen seemed to be frightened as they saw that the punishment was several times stronger than before.

Some people may feel relief when they see seniors being punished but most people can’t stand by and laugh at their punishment. It doesn’t matter how angry the person is, because in their heart of hearts, it’s like a mirrored image of what the reason for the punishment is, it’s just part of the

Sotus System. Whenever there’s a problem with a freshman, the seniors are always the first to help out and when it comes down to it, the seniors are the reason they succeed.

…which may sound a bit false but the fact must be acknowledged that “freshman pride comes from the seniors”.

As a result, many of the freshmen began to sit up and take notice of the punishment in front of them, causing them to have a negative physical reaction. Kongpop also wanted to raise his hand and ask to be punished in place of the seniors but was afraid that his action would cause more trouble than it already was, because with the seniors present, the situation could get worse if he stood up for the seniors himself.

All the freshmen have to sit there and watch the seniors get punished and they can’t be dismissed until the seniors have completed their punishment. Even though the seniors were well trained, the push-ups, squats and head jumps, they’re all half-crippled. But the seniors who finished all the events tried to hide their exhaustion but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t hide the waterfall of sweat and the sound of gasping for air.

Phii Arthit was no exception but as soon as he was done, he headed out of the assembly hall, because he had one more punishment to perform, which was to run 54 laps around the playground.

Kongpop was ready, he was ready to get up and run out as soon as they disbanded. His heart was already flying away with someone. But before he could get out of the venue, he was stopped by his best friend.

“Kong, where are you going?”

“Going to see Arthit run as a senior.”

“Hey, can he really run? You haven’t done enough laps yourself yet.”

M told the truth and that’s what Kongpop is thinking about.

…In fact, Kongpop didn’t run 54 laps at all but only 6 or 7 laps and as soon as the training was over, the medical team lady ordered him to take a rest, because if he did run 54 laps around the soccer field, he would have ended up being carried to the hospital to get an IV and drink porridge. Then the seniors will be investigated by the teachers, so the medical team lady will try to protect the freshmen so as not to make things worse. But even so, Kongpop had only run 6 or 7 laps and he still felt like his legs were broken in the morning. Arthit had just been punished with thousands of squats and push-ups, so he must have been even more useless than before, so Kongpop wasn’t sure if the guy who just went out for a run could do what he said he could do.

“Let’s go to dinner, we’ll be back later to write our report and we have a physics exam tomorrow.”

M’s reminder made Kongpop even more wavering, he looked at his watch, it was almost six o’clock now, it would take a lot of time to eat, write the report and read the book and even if he chased after Arthit now, he would just stand around and stare at him, unable to do anything.

Finally, Kongpop gave up and went to dinner with M and a few other friends, then drove back to the dormitory on his motorcycle and started writing his English report, which he saved and typed up at the printer downstairs but halfway through the study, the pings assaulted Kongpop’s phone like a hypnotic signal, Kongpop’s head went fishing and when he looked at his watch again it was almost nine o’clock. It would be nice to have a pot of coffee or two now, Kongpop thought. Then he overcame his lazy self, shook off his fatigue and prepared to get up to buy coffee. He happened to glance through the window in the direction of the balcony and noticed that it was raining in streaks outside, oh…when did this rain start, I guess I’ve forgotten my reading.

Kongpop grabbed his umbrella and took the elevator downstairs, he was going to buy some snacks at 711 convenience store near the dormitory, he walked in the rain with his umbrella, the more he walked, the heavier the rain became, Kongpop finally reached 711, he found the entrance full of people sheltering from the rain, before he could lift his foot to enter, he was forced to stop for a motorcycle which was speeding by. And two wet girls rushed to get out of the rain, complaining as they ran.

“Ho-ho-ho… what the hell, it’s going to rain if we don’t agree to it.”

“That’s right, it wasn’t raining that hard just now, just a little further and we’ll be at the dorm, so why don’t we try to get back out of the rain.”

“You’re crazy! No way, it’ll get smaller when it rains, that’s right! I was just riding my motorcycle past the faculty soccer field and I saw someone still running there.”

“Ha! You can’t see, how can anyone still run in the playground?”

“I don’t know, maybe not, it was so dark, I couldn’t see much.”

Overhearing the conversation, Kongpop was stunned and some of the information in it made him think of someone.

…running in the playground in the rain, could it be?

He ran back to the dormitory, grabbed his umbrella and rode his motorcycle to faculty without a word. I don’t know if the girl was really wrong, Kongpop just wanted to find out with his own eyes.

Kongpop parked his bus not far away from the stadium, then speedily walked to the stadium, the stadium was still a few lights, bright but because of the rain, the vision is very blurred, almost can not see anything, including the blurred figure running.

…could it be fake, that’s right, who would be running this late at night and it’s raining so heavily. I just thought what that girl said might be true, so I rushed right away, huh… I guess I’m really crazy, Kongpop!

The man who berated himself for his lack of brains sighed, he turned to go home but at this critical moment, a faint sound from afar stopped him in his tracks. The one you’ve come so far to find.

Kongpop ran towards the man without thinking but when he finally saw him with his own eyes, he couldn’t even breathe.

Arthit was drenched in rainwater, both in his jeans and in his head hazer’s black T-shirt, he looked as if he had just been pulled out of the water but that wasn’t the worst of it, the worst of it was his pale, tired face, which at first glance looked as if he had been running for a long, long time.

“Phii Arthit! It’s raining. Stop running!”

Kongpop immediately went forward to hold the umbrella for the man, while he was exposed to the pouring rain but Kongpop didn’t care, because the suffering was nothing compared to what Hazer had endured. Hazer swept Kongpop away with an afterglow and chased him away, panting.

“You…don’t need to worry about me…five laps to go.”

…with 5 laps to go? In other words, Arthit has been running since 6 pm to fulfill his promise and he hasn’t run enough yet? It’s unbelievable that he didn’t run 54 laps as a punishment… why did Phii Arthit try his best so foolishly… is it just for the sake of ‘teacher’s dignity’…?

“But you’re all wet, you’ll get sick later, go get some rest.”

He tries to convince but they don’t appreciate it, they just say no.

“Yes, if you really want to give me a break, then please leave me alone and don’t get in the way! I’m going to finish the run!”

“Then I’ll run with you.”

Kongpop made his own decision and slowly ran along with Hazer, not forgetting to hold his umbrella until he had to stop and yelled at the top of his voice.

“What are you doing?! Back off!”

He who is forbidden to give up? The clear, certain eyes looked fearlessly into the murderous eyes and then insisted.

“No, if you don’t get some rest, then I’ll keep on running.”

Arthit lost his patience and shouted Kongpop’s name, Kongpop knew that he had made the hazer angry but now he couldn’t leave Phii Arthit alone to run in the rain. In the midst of this tussle, a third man intervened.

“What is it, Arthit?”

Both of them turned around at the same time and saw one of the senior head hazers walking over with an umbrella. Arthit wasn’t surprised at the appearance of his companion but immediately complained to his friend with a disgusted look on his face.

“This freshman is minding his own business here. Help me get rid of him and I’ll keep running.”

On hearing this, Arthit’s friend immediately turned the tables on the intruder and said to him in the serious tone of a head hazer.

“What are you doing here as a freshman?”

“It’s raining so hard, why is Phii Arthit running? Can I run for him?”

Kongpop hoped that at least the head hazer would let Arthit rest as he was his friend and then he would run the remaining laps in Arthit’s stead, continuing Arthit’s spirit. But the result was contrary to Kongpop’s idea, the senior teacher not only didn’t take Kongpop’s suggestion but also simply explained that he didn’t know what to say.

“But it’s punishment for the head hazer, not for the freshman.”

“Don’t say it! I disagree! You go downstairs in that building and wait!”

…without even a chance to argue.

Kongpop knew that it would do him no good to continue arguing and that if he continued, he would be dragged away by the tall, fierce-looking senior who looked like a nightstalker in a temple.

Kongpop hesitantly looked at Phii Arthit but he didn’t respond, he didn’t wait for the rain to lighten up and rushed into the rain again, leaving Kongpop standing there alone, until the senior poked him and asked him to go back to the building not far away.

So Kongpop could only follow the head hazer but in his heart he was puzzled, a pang of anger that he kept hidden.

…why…why did the senior watch his brother run to his death and did nothing…why did he let Arthit run alone…why couldn’t he run instead of Arthit?

All the questions formed a big question mark in his heart. As soon as he arrived at the building downstairs not far away, he saw that it was filled with people from the engineering faculty, not only the head hazers, the seniors of the hazers in training were also there, plus there were people from the medical group, Fang greeted him as soon as she saw Kongpop.

“Ow…nong Kongpop, why are you following along, huh! You’re all wet, want a towel? Wait over there with your friends, I’ll get them for you.”

He looked in the direction of Fang sister’s finger, stunned at the scene in front of him, he saw nearly 40 freshmen are standing there chatting, some of them and he also put on their own lingerie but most of them are still wearing training clothes, it looks like they have not returned to the dormitory, including a girl wearing glasses, the girl just happened to see him, so they waved and greeted.

Kongpop was willing to take May’s place and give her his name tag because he couldn’t answer Hazer’s question and May’s name tag was torn off. Instructors and other groups of staff are standing here waiting together.

“Why are you allowed to come here, have you been here long?”

The newcomer asked with a puzzled look on his face and then listened to May’s full account of what had happened, which was beyond Kongpop’s imagination but at last he was able to make sense of it all.

“We’ve been here for almost an hour, we were passing the playground on our way back to the dormitory from the library and happened to see Phii Arthit still jogging, so we called all our friends over.”

May nodded to herself, then the other girl continued.

“Yes, yes, I just took a picture of Arthit’s senior running and posted it on Facebook, it’s getting a lot of retweets.” I just took a picture of Arthit running and posted it on Facebook.

Kongpop’s suspicions seemed to have increased after the girls’ additions but he finally managed to put together all the scattered pieces, which meant that he wasn’t the only one who knew all along that Phii Arthit was still running.

Suddenly the phone rings, scaring Kongpop so much that he almost forgets he has it on him. He reaches into the pocket of his soaked shorts and pulls out his phone but fortunately his pants are still thick enough that the water doesn’t get into the phone. He looks at the caller ID on his phone screen, it’s his best friend and answers.

“What’s wrong, M?”

“Kong! Urgent news, I just saw someone share a picture of the head hazer running in the playground!”

“Well, I know, now I’m right here by the playground.”

“F-ck! Really! So he’s really still running? But it’s still raining. Don’t tell me he’s running in the rain, right? He’s crazy!”

…or else they wouldn’t have done it but the most insane people are the ones who know that Phii Arthit is going crazy but no one is helping him, everyone is just standing around waiting for the hazer to cash in… Penalties.

Now he knew how much honor and dignity belonged to the head hazer and he also knew why Phii Arthit was placed in such an important position, because Phii Arthit would never try to win others’ understanding by force… and he would never accept his good intentions.

Kongpop watched the rain lighten outside and when it stopped, Arthit had finished his run.

The head hazers and nurses quickly ran out of the building and wrapped up the soaked man, who was already staggering and so weak that he was about to faint, in a towel. Kongpop, who had rushed out with the troops, asked about his condition.

“Phii Arthit, how are you holding up?”

Even though Arthit was so tired that he could hardly speak, he shouted with the last of his strength at the freshmen who came to watch.

“You, what are you freshmen doing here! You can go back now!…Not, take me back to the dormitory, I need to change my clothes.”

Arthit said this to the senior who looked like a nightcrawler who had dragged Kongpop away before and not the senior who was carrying the limp Arthit towards the bus that was standing by, everyone made way for the hazer, except Kongpop who introduced himself as he followed.

“I’ll go too.”

Arthit looked back at the heroic professional, his freshly wet clothes and hair were almost dry but his stubborn attempts to convince Arthit remained unchanged, undiminished and Arthit was irritated to have to repeat the question again.

“Why did you follow?”

“I want to see you off.”

“No need! A yearling can do what a yearling does and leave us alone.”

“Don’t freshmen have the right to worry about junior seniors?”

Kongpop’s last question was also shouted, resonating through the entire playground, everyone dared not speak and turned to look at these two men. And Kongpop was looking at Arthit with a hungry look in his eyes.

…he wanted to ask… to ask the head hazer to take a look, not just at him but at the many other freshmen who were worried about him, wanting to make sure he was okay but Arthit just avoided Kongpop’s eyes and spoke directly to his friend.

“Not we can go now… As for you, if you follow me again, I’ll punish all the freshmen tomorrow.”

After dropping the threat, Hazer turned around and joined the head hazers and nurses on the bus. Only the freshmen and the hazers in training were left on the playground and they all retreated, as the rain that had just stopped began to fall again.

“Kongpop, let’s go.”

May came over and poked the distraught man, he nodded and followed May back to the building. He looked down and watched as the rain fell to the ground and then slowly disappeared…

It’s probably the same as how you feel now, no matter how hard you try to convey your feelings, they just disappear in the end.

…that the other one will never receive them.

The stage is set…the lights are set…but Kongpop isn’t set yet.

“Hello, audience! The long-awaited Campus Moon and Star Contest is now officially open!”

Kongpop heard the applause and screams of the hosts after the two transvestite sisters started the concert, it’s hard to stop, it’s obvious that there are a lot of audience outside. Another reason why there are so many people here, is because after the Campus Star Competition, the faculty also invited a popular band to perform, as a concert to end the whole orientation activities with a successful conclusion, so tonight can also be called “Freshmen Night” but not only the freshmen but also the seniors and juniors from all grades came here to have fun and enjoy themselves, as well as to cheer for the representative of their own faculty who will participate in the Campus Star Selection. Therefore, every eye outside will be watching the arena at all times, as everyone is waiting for the moment when the suspense will be revealed.

…but what’s happening in the arena is not what Kongpop, backstage, had in mind.

To be frank, he wasn’t very confident that he’d win Campus Moon and Star. After all, the Star of the Campus competition is not like a sports competition, it’s a team effort. Although there will be a collaboration with the Miss Campus representatives, the final selection will be based on each individual’s performance, so it’s just one person fighting alone and Kongpop is under pressure to make a promise, a promise to someone.

It’s no one’s fault this time. He was too quick to say anything but he had to make a statement in front of the head hazer. If he loses the game, he’ll use himself as an excuse to punish all the students… it’s not a big deal if he’s the only one who gets punished but if he gets everyone else involved… it’s really heavy to think about.

…Now Kongpop is wondering if he really thought it through when he made that promise just because he wanted to flirt with her…

The first thing that Kongpop noticed was that he was nervous and it was probably too obvious.

“Nong Kong, you’re nervous, look at your face, you’re all wrinkled up, that’s not good, we need to smile and if we can’t smile now, then think about the prize, I hear this year’s winners are very generous, if we win, it’ll be great, little brother.”

…if he wins?…right, if he wins, he’ll do what he wants, although he doesn’t know what he wants yet but just the thought of him being angry makes the corners of Kongpop’s mouth turn up, of course, Mini can see all the changes in Kongpop’s expression.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk… he’s smiling at the mention of the prize, he’s a fan of money too but that’s the right smile, just enough to charm them to death.”

“Is the faculty ready! Ready to play oh.”

The staff backstage is rushing the stage and Mini is pushing Kongpop and Miss Campus representative Prepaillin to the stage, cheering them on.

“Go, all of you, come on!”

The lights went down and it was time for Kongpop and Prepaillin to perform. Kongpop took a look at the audience below and although it was hard to see the person standing on stage, he knew that, no matter what, that person would come. He took a deep breath and the only thing he needed to concentrate on now was…

The show is about to begin…

“I don’t usually see you in such a good mood, what’s the matter today, is the sun beating down on you and you wanted to drag us along to the game.”

As Prem said this, Arthit was opening his mouth to eat the roast pork meatballs he had just bought. The group was standing on the top of the hill away from the stage and the freshmen seats but close to the snack bar, which sold smoothies and snacks. But the crowd was sporadic now, having flocked to the stage to see the Faculty Star’s performance. Arthit, on the other hand, doesn’t look like he wants to see the show, for the following reasons.

“I just wanted to come to the concert later.”

“Oh, oh, oh… it’s just a concert, hey, I don’t know who it is but they’ve been trying to get me here since 6:00.”

When he heard his friend’s ridicule, Arthit was a bit shocked, because it was almost six o’clock when he finished class and he did call Prem to go to the basketball game as soon as he got out of the classroom, he didn’t even have time to change out of his uniform and he didn’t bother to eat, so he just thought to get something to fill up his stomach. But even if Prem was telling the truth, Arthit wouldn’t be willing to let Prem complain and tease him, because Prem himself wasn’t much better.

“You know, you’d like to see it yourself, I just called you to come alone and look at you, you’ve brought ten assholes.” I just called you to come alone and look at you.

Prem didn’t know what to say, so he took a meatball from Arthit to ease his embarrassment and then racked his brain for a reason to continue his tirade against Arthit.

“I brought them here to put pressure on the juniors! Who would have thought they’d actually win the sports day, it’s a real slap in the face, if the faculty stars win again, we’ll be in trouble.”

“Well, he can’t win.”

Arthit put it down straight away, like he was winning.

…the sports day can cheer you on but if you want to win the faculty star, it’s going to be hard. Like Kongpop that kid can’t have any outstanding talent to show, face value is not so good, I can assure you that he will not win and he doesn’t know how much he dares to come to me and play games with me, when you lose I’ll punish you to do something shameful in front of the whole faculty, you’ll never forget it Wait and see, 0062!

“Please enjoy the next performance by the two participants from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering!”

The voice of the host on stage interrupted Arthit’s train of thought and the lights dimmed accordingly. Despite the distance, Arthit felt the screams of the pheasants and the applause when the spotlight hit the Mr. and Miss of the campus representative.

Unlike the other faculties who wear suits with chicken feathers and sequins and look like flamboyant whores, Kongpop’s outfit was simple: a bright shirt and dark jeans. His partner Prepaillin, too, looked as fresh as a strawberry shortcake in a sweet little dress with a flower garland headband.

“Hello everyone! We are the representatives from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering. The next talent we are going to showcase is singing. If you can sing, please sing loudly with us!”

…my God, I thought it was going to be something big but it’s just a song and I underestimate the audience’s intelligence.

Arthit laughed, his attention shifting from the stage to another set of roast pork meatballs, which he was pulling out with his mouth, while waiting for the song to come on.

“…many wishes in my heart, how wonderful it is to have them come true, only Doraemon can make my dreams come true…”

The familiar melody accompanied Arthit throughout his childhood, because it was the theme song of the cartoon” Doraemon”. The TV, tied to the Cartoon Channel 9, just to watch this cartoon.

“…every day is the same, with the occasional whim, With Doraemon’s dream, it’s infinitely longer.

Share with me when I’m happy, be there when I’m sad, Just dig into his magic pocket and forget about his troubles.

Seek the treasure of legends, venture far away, Ho, ho, ho, Doraemon and me… make dreams shine…”

Kongpop and Prepaillin interspersed their songs with one another, which caused a lot of screaming and cheering. Suddenly, the band teacher changed his tune and went straight into another song and although it was just the beginning, some people were already screaming, because they soon realized that the next song was an English song that everyone knew very well.

“Young man, there’s no need to feel down.

I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.

I said young man ‘cause you’re in a new town

There’s no need to be unhappy.

It’s fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A.

It’s fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A.

They have everything for you men to enjoy, You can hang out with all the boys…

It’s fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A.

It’s fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A.

You can get yourself cleaned, you can have a good meal, You can do whatever you feel…”

Arthit was stunned by the scene unfolding in front of him, silently cluttering up the hilltop.

To be honest, Kongpop and Prepaillin’s vocals weren’t that impressive but their ability to get the crowd going and interact with them was commendable, because it was hard enough to get the crowd’s attention in a few minutes but they still managed to get everyone involved in their performance without making it awkward.

Soon the rhythmic melodies stopped, the lights dimmed and the crew brought up a chair and a guitar while Kongpop spoke into the microphone in the middle of the stage.

“Are you all tired? Then we’ll take a break with a slow song, our last song and sing along if we have the energy.”

At first Arthit thought that Kongpop was the one who was going to play the guitar but then he took the guitar from the staff and handed it to Prepaillin who was sitting on the chair and started tuning it. Arthit said that he didn’t understand the routine of these two guys, isn’t it usually the guys who play guitar and the girls who sing? But the switch caused another round of screams from the audience and once again, this new format attracted everyone’s attention. In anticipation, the bright and clean guitar accompaniment with Kongpop’s deep and soft baritone voice, like a warm current, quickly hit everyone’s ears.

And this is the song that Arthit must listen to in silence.

“Stare, stare at you for a long time, I don’t dare, I don’t always dare to look you in the eyes.

Afraid that one day you’ll know the truth I’ve been hiding from you.

The secrets I’ve buried, I’ve never told anyone but I can’t stand it any longer.

The closer I get to you, the more I can’t help but reveal my feelings to you.

The more emotion we feel when we look at each other, the harder it is to bury this love.

In your secret, is there a me too? Please tell me, let me know.

I’ve been thinking about what you said to me, all alone, in my head, Because of you, you’re the best person in the world. How long will it take me to say the word” love”?

The secrets I’ve buried, I’ve never told anyone but I can’t stand it any longer.

The closer I get to you, the more I can’t help but reveal my feelings to you.

The more emotion we feel when we look at each other, the harder it is to bury this love.

In your secret, is there a me too, Please tell me, let me know.”

With the last note and the applause of the audience, the performance of the Industrial Engineering Faculty came to a perfect end and the host followed the flow of the stage to do the intro.

“The Industrial Engineering Faculty performance is over, baa…I’m sure that the performance must have hit some audience’s heart, next I want to interview these two contestants, why did they choose to sing these three songs?”

“We chose these three songs because each of them reflects three different stages of our lives. The first song is from our childhood memories and the second song reflects the fact that we’re coming of age and that we’re old enough to have a crush on someone.”

Kongpop’s answer, especially the last sentence, triggered another round of screaming, the answer was both romantic and provocative and the girls and women at the scene were not able to resist at all.

…but in reality, the real reason behind it is a million miles away from the romantic answer people thought. The reason they chose these songs is because Prepaillin only played Pause’s “Secret” as a test prep in high school. As for the other two songs, Kongpop suggested them because he thought everyone would have heard them before and that they would be well received by the audience and that they would be able to sing along, which is why he suggested them to Mini. He started to practice the song and followed Mini’s instructions to keep the atmosphere as active as possible and keep smiling.

Although Arthit was at the top of the mountain, after the show, Arthit could still feel that Kongpop and the others had won the hearts of their fans from the overwhelming response of the audience. Even Prem, who was on the sidelines, said this.

“At this rate, the show will definitely advance in this round.”

Arthit’s brow furrowed, momentarily losing interest in eating the balls, he handed the bag with the balls in it to the person next to him, his mouth still agape.

“It’s just one more round and there’s a question and answer session.”

Although the words that came out of his mouth were still full of contempt, there was a hidden concern in his heart.

He almost forgot that it’s always Kongpop’s skill to be slick but always save his own ass. If not, how could he dare to talk back when he’s still training the freshmen? The jury is all over him.

As expected, both Kongpop and Prepaillin entered the final five with leading scores.

For the question answering session, both of them put on their clean faculty uniforms and stood on the stage in order, ready to draw questions at random.

“Next up is Kongpop from the Industrial Engineering program!”

Kongpop reached into the box and drew lots, he drew a note with the number 7 on it, he then handed it over to the host with the envelope of questions, the atmosphere was like a beauty pageant.

“Well, the problem with Kongpop is…”

The host deliberately paused here to let the contenders come in to create a tense atmosphere, the audience was also quite cooperative, not daring to breathe, just waiting to hear the next question.

“What is your opinion on SOTUS as an orientation system, should it be abolished or not and why?”

The risk of answering such a sensitive and informative question was high, as the

The Sotus System was the hottest topic of the day. It was even more difficult for Kongpop, who happened to be in an industrial engineering faculty that still adhered to this tradition, to answer the question. He knew there were people who were on SOTUS but at the same time there were many more who were treading on the system, as he had done from the beginning. So, a lot of people are sweating for Kongpop, because if he doesn’t get it right, it’s a suicide question.

Kongpop was silent for a moment, the images of the past flashed through his mind like a movie, as if there was a little black man and a little white man fighting in his head. But in the end, Kongpop decided to follow his heart and answer the question.

“I believe that all systems in the world have their good and bad sides, like the two sides of the same coin but it’s all about how we use them. The

The Sotus System also has its good side, it teaches us how to unite with others. We all come from different backgrounds and we all graduated from different faculties, so welcoming people to SOTUS brings us closer together. However, if the people who implement SOTUS don’t use it properly and are too violent, then the new students will be disobedient, disrespectful and may even get into arguments if they are not careful. Therefore, I can’t answer whether the

Sotus System should be abolished or not, because it depends on the motives of the people in charge of the system but one thing is for sure. We’re just hoping that the rest of our faculty life will be full of possibilities.”

Although Kongpop didn’t make any choice in his concluding remarks, his answers were always on topic, clear and well-reasoned and he added his own real feelings, which made the audience applaud.

Arthit watched Kongpop on the big screen and bowed to the audience after answering the question and returned to his previous position. After that Arthit deliberately turned away from the match, leaving Prem without any explanation and walked towards the other side of the field. Prem could only ask the question by shouting in hindsight.

“Hey! Arthit, where are you going?”

“Well, I’ll be right back.”

The person in question answers and then speeds away from the group. No more listening to other faculties’ answers, no more watching last year’s Star of the Campus homecoming show, which was set up to give the judges points.

It’s finally the moment we’ve all been waiting for but before we get to the big announcement, let’s start with the small prizes.

“Next to be revealed is the Most Popular Award!”

The Most Popular Award is selected by votes from the audience and other organizations in addition to the jury, such as student clubs, alumni associations, etc., to select their favorite Mr. and Miss Campus. This year’s Miss Popularity Award went to a female contestant from the Faculty of Education.

“As for the Most Popular Boy award, he’s…”

The live sound effects further heightened the tension and then, the name announced from the host’s mouth was…

“Mr. Kongpop Sutthilak from Industrial Engineering Faculty!”

Kongpop was stunned but it wasn’t until the biggest spotlight hit his face that Kongpop realized he should have come forward to accept the ribbons, dolls and a bunch of mall discount coupons. The photo was then taken amidst congratulatory applause but who knows, right now Kongpop’s heart is filled with worry.

…it’s nice to win the Most Popular award but it doesn’t mean that Kongpop has won the contest, because over the years, the Most Popular winner is different from the Campus Star winner, because there are other contestants to take care of. So, this means that Kongpop’s chances of winning Campus Moon and Star are even slimmer and he might actually lose to someone this time.

As the hosts announced the other awards one by one, without Kongpop’s name, disappointment began to consume Kongpop, until the Miss Faculty Award was announced.

“The winner of Miss Campus 2556 (calendar year 2013) is, Miss Prepaillin Pudtiasom from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering!”

It’s no wonder that the stage shook with the applause and screams from the freshman area of the faculty of Engineering, because Mini had told him that it was very difficult for the faculty of Engineering to win the title of Miss Campus, as it was usually eliminated by the language faculty.

Kongpop also applauded and congratulated his friend. Although Prepaillin didn’t have any other glamorous aura compared to the other contestants, her cute face, sweet smile, no fuss and intelligent answers were well-deserved for the title.

After the presentation of the awards and the group photo, the whole venue was quiet again, as everyone waited with bated breath for the last award of the night to be presented.

“Finally, the winner of Campus Moon and Star for the year 2556 (2013 calendar year) is…”

Kongpop sighed…never mind…he did his best but he’ll accept whatever punishment Arthit wants to give him. Although he still felt a little pity, because after all, he was the one who got what he wanted from Arthit. Kongpop had already made up his mind and didn’t expect anything else. He watched as the lights on the stage dimmed and as the music grew faster and faster, the winner was finally announced.

…and suddenly a chasing light hit the winner on the darkened stage.

“Mr. Kongpop Sutthilak from the Industrial Engineering Faculty!”

The winner of this award looks incredulous and immediately looks up.

…is this a joke? I can’t believe he’s won the Most Popular and Campus Moon and Star awards all by himself!

Although Kongpop didn’t get it for a while, he didn’t have to, because by the time he did, he was already wearing a ribbon and a wreath and his arms were full of prizes, along with the flashbulbs that were pointing at him. The freshmen in the freshman area of the Faculty of Engineering were already on their feet, beating the drums and celebrating with joy. Because up to this point, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering had won all the prizes in the Sports Day and Campus Star Awards, which was a great honor and pride for the entire freshman.

As the Campus Moon and Star competition came to a close, the contestants left the stage to make room for the staff to set up for the rest of the concert. As soon as Kongpop descended the stairs to the ground, he was swarmed by people asking for photos, including Mini, Kongpop and Prepaillin’s honorary mentor, who squealed as she rushed over to hug Kongpop and watched her two children win the title, she can’t help but weep with joy.

Campus Moon and Star was dragged to take pictures with the crowd, laughing until his mouth was cramped and couldn’t stand it any longer so he decided to find a corner to hide and rest.

…because this is the man who made the bet with Kongpop.

He didn’t expect to meet her so soon but it seemed that she was waiting for him and she didn’t want to run away. So Kongpop went over to the seniors and gave them a bow in accordance with the

Sotus System. He was sincere but there was a mystery behind his words.

“I won.”

“Well! Got it, what do you want from me?”

Right to the point, right to the point, the hazer. But the look on his face is not good, because he’s the loser. Since the other side is so clean and straightforward, Kongpop won’t beat around the bush.

“Then I’m going to…”

Arthit’s heart was beating fast, not because he was nervous but because he was scared, because he thought Kongpop would make him do something that would tarnish the hazer’s image but in any case, a man of Arthit’s stature would have to give up the challenge.

So Arthit, despite his fear, looked at Kongpop without blinking, waiting for the verdict from the victor.

“…I want to save it for now and tell you about it next time.”

Ha!? What the hell! Save it for later, I’ve been stressing out here for nothing and that’s the end of it! (You’re telling me this with your pants down?) No wonder Arthit is going to blow up.

“What the hell! What the f-ck, if you’re gonna say it, say it!”  but before Kongpop could answer, a scream and cheer came from the front desk, followed by a jazz song played by a famous band from the faculty. While listening to the song, Hazer suddenly heard a voice asking him.

“Did Phii think the song was good?”

Kongpop changed the subject and also changed Arthit’s mood. Arthit, who was angry just now, was confused by the question but he also answered to the music.

“This song? It’s okay, I’ve heard it before.”

“Not this one, I mean the one I was singing.”

Kongpop added further, causing the questioner to begin to recall.

Um… the songs he sang on stage, what songs did he sing, Doraemon, YMCA and that song… the last love song…

For some reason the thought of the lyrics and the sight of Kongpop’s shining eyes and smile, gave Arthit a strange feeling in his heart. He couldn’t explain it but just left a word and fled quickly.

Kongpop wanted to laugh, because he already knew what Arthit would probably say.

…Phii Arthit is probably Phii Arthit, always so cruel and venomous, never caring about anyone’s feelings. But even so, he wanted to see Phii Arthit’s angry face, even before the Campus Moon and Star Contest started. It was then that he started to feel the real joy of winning the title of Campus Moon and Star but as soon as he started to talk about another topic, he was cut off again.

“Nong Kongpop, I’m a senior from the student club and I’d like to interview you.”

A big-eyed girl wearing glasses was shouting her request from a short distance away and Campus Moon and Star, who was trying to avoid the crowd, was found. In fact, Kongpop wanted to talk to Arthit but he fled so fast that he was already gone, leaving Kongpop unprepared for the interview.

“You got the title of Campus Moon and Star. How do you feel now?”

“Uh… I don’t know.”

Kongpop’s answer seemed to end the interview, so much so that the journalist had to jokingly lead him to answer.

“Meh, how could you not know? Aren’t you excited? Campus Moon and Star is like the moon in the sky and Miss Campus is like a star. Aren’t you happy to be paired with a star in the sky?”

Kongpop was poked by some of the words of the older sister, he was silent for a moment but he accidentally said the part of his heart that he disagreed with.

“But there’s more than just the moon and the stars in the sky.”

The other frowned, puzzled and asked.

“Huh? So what else is there?”

Kongpop smiled, his eyes gazing in the direction someone had just left and replied in a small voice, briefly.

And the meaning behind that answer, only one person knows.

“Hey! Kong! Kong! Kongpop! What are you looking at, I’ve been calling you for so long and you haven’t responded.”

With a lot of effort, M had managed to summon the spirit of the stunned man back to the basketball court, where everyone was preparing for the upcoming game, except Kongpop, who couldn’t concentrate at all, because he was waiting for someone to show up.

…the one who always reminded him of the beginning.

The whistle blows which means the basketball game between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Education is officially over and in an instant the arena erupts with cheers for the cheering team and the winning team.

“Winning! We’re in the finals, wow!”

Kongpop heard M shouting in excitement, running to the bench and high-fiving himself while Kongpop, on the other hand, was out of place. Seeing this, M asks with a frown on his face.

“What’s wrong with you Kong, you look so sad, we won! Cheer up.”

“No, I just didn’t see any seniors come to the game today.”

Kongpop shrugged his shoulders but he couldn’t help but say what was on his mind.

In fact, not only today, since the beginning of the freshmen sports day yesterday, he had only seen freshmen and sophomores coming in but the seniors in the engineering faculty seemed to be in a different routine from the other faculties, they didn’t seem to be interested in the competition at all, even though they were the ones who had made it a rule for the freshmen to win all the events.

“Hey hey, it’s probably because we’re afraid of getting hit in the face, what about the way we were squeezed before, when we really do it, they won’t be as nice as they said before, just wait and see… then if dad doesn’t smash their eyes out with the trophy, let’s see if they still dare to be that arrogant.”

The guy who kept talking about the seniors while wiping his sweat is called “Wad”, he’s a big-eyed, single-eyed Chinese, he’s Kongpop’s new friend and he made a revolutionary friendship when they stood up to the seniors in the gym together.

Kongpop got to know Wad better during basketball practice and as far as Kongpop knew, Wad was a chemistry major, hated the Sotus System and didn’t like practice much but was only willing to play out of love for the game. It’s not surprising that Wad was chosen to be the team captain because he’s a good player, except for the fact that he’s a bit of a hothead and gets angry easily, so it’s not surprising that he dared to call out the seniors but after that, Wad made up his mind to save face and that’s what drove him to lead his teammates to the finals.

“Go home and get some rest, tomorrow is the last battle, the seniors and the others can come or not, as long as we win, they will definitely know in the end anyway, you should not persevere in your search.”

M tapped Kongpop on the shoulder and walked out of the stadium, Kongpop also stood up and walked out with his friends but he still had his eyes on the cheering stand but the truth was, he still saw only the freshmen singing on the cheering stand and some of them were moving to other games to continue cheering…

The faculty’s freshman sports meet is usually held over three days, with the competition starting in the late afternoon and the students are allotted time slots to take turns cheering for the various sports, including soccer, volleyball, table tennis and badminton. These sports are still in the stage of elimination but from the latest update, none of them have been eliminated, which shows that the “intimidation” from the seniors of the third year still works, like a long whip, always spurring the freshmen, so that they do not dare to slack off at all and fight to the death.

In Kongpop’s case, even though he’s only a substitute, he’s been practicing hard this past week because he wants to make good on his promise to show the seniors the dignity of being a freshman and that’s why he’s trying so hard to do his best. of the year. But even now that they’ve made it to the finals, the seniors haven’t even shown up once.

…including that guy.

For some reason, throughout the game, his eyes would keep searching for someone and even though he knew the chances of them coming were slim to none, he still kept praying in his heart, hoping to meet those cold eyes. But every time he accidentally looked at them for too long, Kongpop had to drag his mind back to the game and scold himself every time.

…he’s probably really crazy, Kongpop ugh!

The man with the wildest thoughts shook his head to get them out of his head and warned himself that he should go home and get some rest for tomorrow’s game.

Kongpop said goodbye to his friends and drove his motorcycle back to the dormitory at around 8pm, a little before the end of the freshmen sports day. Kongpop didn’t go straight to the dormitory but turned around and drove his motorcycle to a foodshed not far away. Kongpop had actually eaten something to fill up his stomach before the game but by this point, his energy had been depleted, so he drove here, looking for a snack to replenish his energy. Suddenly the aroma of barbecue enters Kongpop’s nose and it turns out it’s the owner of the pork kebab restaurant grilling skewers, so there’s no need to bother, so this is the place.

“Boss, 10 kebabs of roast pork, a bag of sticky rice.”

“Can you wait a minute, the pork is still cooking, it’ll be done in a minute.”

The barbecue man was turning the skewers over as he spoke. I didn’t check to see if there was any meat already cooked but now that I’m here, I don’t feel like walking to look for other food, since I won’t lose any meat later.

Kongpop nodded and decided to just stand there and wait. He took the coins out of his coin purse to pay later and was calculating how much he would have to pay when suddenly another customer’s voice came from behind him.

“Uncle, 10 skewers of roast pork and a bag of sticky rice…”

“Can you wait a minute, the pork is still cooking, it’ll be done in a minute.”

The conversation was just like a copy and paste from earlier, making Kongpop shift his eyes from the coin purse to the person who was walking this way, who was answering the old man’s questions with a cheerful tone.

“No problem~” but the long winding sound suddenly stopped in the sky, just as the hazer suddenly realized who was standing in front of the stall, the person in question hid the pink milk that he was still swallowing behind his back with a thunderbolt and as Kongpop was giving himself the salute, he quickly changed his face, immediately removed his playful smile and replaced it with a serious face.

“Sawadee khrap, Phii Arthit.”

Arthit’s short, snappy reply, as if he was not caring, turned him into a cool guy, as if he had a magical switch installed in his body that could switch between comic and cool in an instant, without any sense of discomfort. However, this change in his face made the previously relaxed atmosphere tense and strange and Kongpop had to find something to say to defuse the awkwardness.

“Our basketball game made it to the finals, as did all the other sports I heard.”

“So why did you come to tell me?”

Kongpop was startled by the question of a man who had searched the basketball court but found no one but who had finally found him in front of the barbecue but he chose to try to explain.

“I didn’t see the seniors come to the game, so I thought you didn’t know.”

“Well, it’s only the finals, so don’t report to me, I only care if you win in the end.”

That’s why the seniors didn’t come to the game once, because they think everything is worthless if the freshmen haven’t won the final game. I don’t know.

“Don’t worry, I’ll win.”

Another line from the idol hero, with his overwhelmingly confident attitude, it was really annoying! Arthit couldn’t help but look at his mouth.

…your sister-in-law’s foot, your sister-in-law’s perfect man but he probably hasn’t heard the phrase,” No one is perfect”. No one is invincible, he must have weaknesses, otherwise, how can the word” loser” exist in this world.

“Do you think you can really do it? I heard you’re going to represent the faculty in the Campus Star Competition, right.”

Arthit’s words sounded like an ordinary question but to Kongpop, who was already familiar with Arthit’s patterns, he could instantly tell that Arthit had something to say. Just as Kongpop expected, before he could answer, the questioner, with a wry expression on his face, replied with a smirk.

“So you remember what I once said, we never lose to anyone in engineering, if you want my approval, you have to win every project.”

…to win every project and for Kongpop… to be crowned Campus Moon and Star but please don’t underestimate the difficulty of the Campus Moon and Star competition, because it’s not just about the face but also about the individual’s talent and other aspects.

Even though it was just a competition to spice up the orientation and the winner of the title didn’t win any prizes and wouldn’t be chosen to compete in the Miss Universe Contest, it was a battle of academies against each other. If it wasn’t for that, Mini wouldn’t have used her power of attorney to allow Kongpop to become a representative of the faculty without having to go through a vote of the freshmen.

And the point is, from the very beginning, Kongpop didn’t give any thought to the Campus Star and it was very difficult to be the first one among the more than ten faculties, so it seems that the conditions that the hazer asked for were extremely harsh.

Arthit couldn’t help but feel happy when he saw Kongpop standing there for a long time unable to say anything.

He’s sure Kongpop will lose… he’s average looking, no talent but he likes to act like a pig’s foot all day long. When he loses the Campus Star competition, Arthit will use this as a pretext to punish all the freshmen, because even if he wins all the sports events, if the Campus Star loses, it will be considered a breach of the promise. In this way, the hopes of all the freshmen of the Engineering Faculty were pinned on Kongpop alone. So it’s normal for Kongpop to remain silent and not smile.

“The pork roast is ready!” A moment of embarrassment was broken by the roast pork man.

He handed over a bag with 10 skewers of roast pork and a bag of sticky rice, Arthit reached for the bag and paid for it, then made a gorgeous turn leaving only his handsome back behind.

You see, that’s what real leading men are like. No matter how sure he is now, the only one who can laugh out loud is the one who holds the ace in the hole, ha ha.

Arthit, now possessed by the hero, celebrated his victory by sucking on the powdered milk he had hidden behind his body for so long but as soon as he took two steps away, he was startled by a voice from behind him.

“And if I do win, what will you give me?”

Arthit almost spewed out a mouthful of pink milk drink, choking on his” ahem”. He turned around with a question mark on his face and immediately asked the speaker if his ears were ringing in his ears.

“Huh? What do you mean,” Huh? Why would I want to give you something?”

He exhaled and said with a relaxed expression.

“Consider this a little wager between us, okay? If I lose, I’ll do one thing for you but if I win, you have to do one thing for me.”

After hearing Kongpop’s words, now it was Arthit’s turn to be stunned and speechless and only after a long time did he realize that war had been declared on him, he became furious.

“Kongpop! You’re the one who dares to bargain with me now, are you!”

The hazer was furious, his voice raised an octave and his voice was shaking. But the man opposite, instead of being afraid, smiled and began to explain.

“I’m not bargaining, I’m just making a suggestion and it’s up to you whether you accept it or not. I’m at a disadvantage either way. Unless…you’re afraid I’ll win.”

At first it sounded fine but then Arthit felt like he had been punched in the heart, which was fine.

…This guy looks harmless on the outside but he’s a scheming bastard, full of mischief! That’s why he’s not afraid to die. Well, fine… if you dare to give this challenge, then I will certainly take it… Look carefully, kid, a man like me, Arthit, has never been afraid of anyone

“All right, I’ll take your advice, because I’m pretty sure and certain that a man like you will lose, no matter what the competition.”

The hazer accepted the offer, while not forgetting to take a dig at the other side but Kongpop’s side, still full of energy, responded by extending an invitation to Arthit.

“In that case, don’t forget to come see me tomorrow, so you can see for yourself if I’m really going to lose or not.”

This was the first time, I don’t know how many times, that Arthit could not find any words to curse in front of this man, so he could only turn and flee in anger. Kongpop was left on the spot, staring at Arthit’s back but he never got an answer.

…Actually, Kongpop didn’t mean to declare war on the senior but when he saw his face, he forgot who he was for a moment and couldn’t help but make fun of him. And on the other hand, Kongpop just wanted the senior to come and watch the game, not just basketball but all the other sports, so that he could see how hard the freshmen had worked to win.

As for the condition that the loser has to agree to a request from the opponent, it’s just to make the bet more fun and to motivate himself to take the game more seriously. Kongpop admits that it’s a risky bet for him but since he’s already got half a foot in the door, he’s got to put his heart and soul into it and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

…depends on tomorrow.

“Hey! Kong! Kong! Kongpop! What are you staring at, you’ve been so distracted since just now, it’s almost time for the game!”

M brought back Kongpop’s spirit again and now Kongpop is at the basketball finals, starting the first half of the game, why only the first half, because Kongpop has to keep his energy up for the Faculty Star game. But right now he’s in a completely detached state and all he can think about is the cheering section but so far, there’s no sign of anyone in the arena.

In the end, it never came…

He should’ve known this would happen but what was he expecting, a hazer like Arthit wouldn’t care as long as the freshman didn’t win. But deep down in his heart, Kongpop was still hoping that he would get a little result by provoking the seniors with his drastic offer yesterday but now it seems that all his efforts were in vain.

…his plan may have failed.

So Kongpop had no choice but to stop waiting. He walked towards his teammates, leaned over his shoulder and formed a circle with them and started to prepare for the pre-game cheer. But before it could begin, there was a commotion and screaming from the Kobo Yard pep rally, so much so that the captain looked up and asked what was going on.

“What’s happening?”

At once, all the players looked towards the source of the noise and found that the one who caused the commotion was a group of people who had just walked into the gym – nearly 20 seniors from the third and fourth year of Engineering Faculty. They walked right up to the edge of the stadium, ignoring the stares of others, as if they were here to take over the territory. But given the current situation, it’s more appropriate to say they’re here to put pressure on the juniors.

“Heh, I thought they weren’t going to come, now that’s good, let’s show those annoying  how we win!”

Kongpop heard Wad’s hateful words and then accidentally saw the man he had been searching for so long beside the senior Wad considered his enemy. The captain called all the men together and with a voice more passionate and full of morale than the previous one, he raised the cheer again.

“Engineering Faculty! Go! Cheer! Let’s go! Go, go, go!!”

The loud voices and the booming of the drums raised the morale of the teams, which could be considered as a prelude to the competitive match between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science. The Faculty of Science had always been the fierce rival of the Faculty of Engineering in the Welcome Games, so the match between the two was a tiger and tiger and the climax of the game was so intense that the audience was sometimes breathless, sometimes blood curdling. The tense atmosphere lasted until the final whistle blew.

All eyes were on the scoreboard and the result was clear: engineering won, 83-76.

“Oh yeah! I did it! We won!!!!”

Kongpop saw that M had already raised his hand to give him a high five but this time, before M could reach the bench, Kongpop was already bouncing in the middle of the field but the good news wasn’t over yet, Kongpop heard one of the staff yelling at the cheering section.

“Hey! Good news! That soccer game over there, we won on penalty kicks!”

The arena was instantly covered with screams of excitement, because today was the last day of the games and all other games had ended in the evening, so basketball and football were the last two games of the games. Winning these two games would mean that ITRC had won the championship of all the games in the New Year Games and this is the pride and glory of all the students of ITRC!

Kongpop stole a glance at the seniors, some of them were quite happy but most of them still had a cold look on their faces, especially the seniors but Kongpop was used to it. The first thing that happened was that Kongpop’s face was so cold, he couldn’t see any emotions, especially the seniors but Kongpop was used to that.

“Nong Kong, where’s nong Kong?…Huh! So there it is, go with sister to make up, you have to enter the faculty star competition later.”

Mini didn’t have time to explain, so she grabbed the representative’s arm and walked out, dragging him right through the middle of the crowd of seniors but it was because of this that Kongpop got a chance to pass someone by.

“Don’t forget to come and see me play.”

The moment Arthit looked up and saw his eyes meet his own, Kongpop said quietly. Although he was quickly dragged out of sight by Mini, it was enough for Kongpop to understand why he was looking for someone on the paddock and couldn’t concentrate on the race and why he was so determined to win.

…because he wanted something from this man, something seemingly ordinary but vital to him.

That thing is called… “Encouragement”.
